I will be running a 10k in a few weeks that I may end up using as proof of time for corral placement. Does anyone know which calculator/chart Run Disney uses to determine what 10k pace = 1/2 marathon pace?
If I wanted to put, for example, an estimated 1:44 half marathon finish time, what time would I have to get on the 10k? Thank you!

bumping with a new question...I am going to run a 10k this weekend--I don't think I will get that 46:39, but still if I do well I may want/need to use this for corral placement at some point in the future.
I looked at last year's results and noticed the timing company doesn't really give much identifying info about the runner--doesn't list age, hometown, etc. Just the name. http://www.amazingracetiming.com/results/2014/2014-bodies-in-motion-5k-10k/301-results-10k.html

If someone has a fairly common name "Matt Jones" or something, it could be easy for someone else to "claim" it?
Is this going to be a problem if I end up doing well enough to want to use it for proof of time at some point?

I don't see how it could be an issue. Since you have to show ID at package pickup, you could only claim a 'common name' that matches your own.
And even if someone else claimed your results, I doubt Disney is thorough enough to prevent you from claiming the same results.
I suspect as people become more privacy conscious, results with name only will become more common.

Good Luck on the 10k!
