hi family of five - three kids will be 12 8 and 5 why are there so little options at such large costs. Must travel after Christmas and before New Year and want to stay in Disney accomodation for 14nights can anyone help with ideas. I dont really mind where flying from although Manchester and
Heathrow are slightly better than Gatwick as we are in midlands. Have been looking at Dolphin as that seems about the best option we dont really want to pay for two rooms and those allow 5 but not many others do? Any ideas would be gratefully considered thanks

I am not an expert on accommodation for 5 as there is only three of us but most of the Deluxe villa resorts have two bed which can sleep 5, including the new treehouse villa's. However they are not cheap although you could rent DVC points; we did that for our stay last year and that worked out much cheaper.

On the value range I think All stars now do family rooms which sleep up to 6, no idea on price.

Whilst not a value resort there is the Wilderness cabins just across the lake from Magic Kingdom; great location.

Have a look at Saratoga Springs and OKW as they are Disney villas but you still get the onsite benefits.

I think that the ASM suites are a litlle over £1000 for 14 nights, the Wilderness Cabins are around £1300. If you wanted to book one of the Deluxe Villas you would need a two bedroom villa. The studios and one bedroom villas only accomodate 4 people. I guess that if you rented points you would be able to stay in a studio or a one bedroom, although there wouldn't be a whole lot of room in a studio.
