HELP! trouble with saved PM's and getting new ones...!!

Three different DIS'ers have tried to send me pm's and were unable to because they said they keep getting vBulletin message and that my in-box was full. I only have 6 past pm's saved. Also, in the "pm tracking" section, I think I only have 2 in there. What gives?? Any help appreciated.....

Here's everything you need to know about cleaning out pm's.

Be sure you've changed the date to "from the beginning".

when I went into my screen with the pm's, it was already on "from the beginning"; I have a total of 6 saved pm's. Could you send a pm (a test) to see if I receive it? Thanks, again....

I sent you a pm and it seems to have gone through just fine.

Up at the top of the screen, where the user cp is, look to the right and click on "home".

Scroll all of the way to the bottom of the page. Underneath the list of users, is a section for private messages. You can see how many privates messages the system thinks you have. That way you'll know how many to look for if you have any more problems.

It's important to keep in mind that your PM Box can be full and it doesn't look like you have many messages in there, UNTIL you look at the messages that are in the SENT box as well as the ones that are shown in the Inbox.

I was fooled by this at first too, but if you consider that there is a finite amount of space in each user's PM Box for all of the purposes combined, it's easier to understand that you have to clean out the messages in all of the areas and not just the Inbox.
