Hello!!

What is the best way to get from Union Station (in Toronto) to the Pearson Airport??

We have baggage, so the bus isn't very practical... are we stuck with a cab? I think it will be about $50!

Thanks!

For $2.50 you can take the subway to Kipling and avoid the bus by spending $15.00 on a cab from there.

I've taken the bus with my luggage... but I'm normally by myself when I do that and I don't pack more than I can carry.

Are you allowed to bring luggage on the subway?

You can take luggage, bicycles etc on the subway--you just have to manage it. I think that they limit bicycles to non-rush hour times though.

Personally, the bus is the way to go if you do not want to pay for a taxi. They pick up across the street from Union at the Royal York Hotel. Once you get your luggage packed away in the luggage hold under the bus, it is a relaxing trip to the airport. The driver announces the terminals and domestic/international etc and the price is reasonable.

Buying a round trip is cheaper than 2 x one way.

Thank you! I'm going to PM you for more info!!

I agree the Airport Express Bus is the best way to go from downtown.
$16.45 one-way, $28.35 roundtrip.
Don't quite understand your comment about the bus not being practical because you have luggage.
Cheapest way is TTC. $2.50. Subway to Kipling, then bus 192, the Airport Rocket.

Oh yes, but no one is going to help you with it!

Only take with you what your own person can manage - don't tell me it's impossible because I've done it for months on end withy no less than 3 pairs of shoes and 30 pairs or underwear in Europe and here.

If you have young kids, then this is probably not the best way for you.

I just pictured a regular city bus in my head, and I couldn't imagine lugging our suitcases onto a regular bus.
