Help to make a desicion

I'm trying to build my WDW park schedule based in take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours. I have a specific problem on dec/5, because at that day I plan to visit MGM and then go to the MVMCP at 7:00 pm. Whit this, I'll miss the Fantasmic show. I'm able to change the MGM visit to the next day, but then I'll miss the AK EMH. Based in your WDW expertise, please help me to take this decision: what's more attractive: See the Fantasmic show at MGM, or take advantage of the evening EMH at AK. What do you recommend?

Personally, if you have never seen Fantasmic, then I would want to see that. Saying that, I have not been to AK emh, so I don't know what extra they might have. I wouldn't think it would not be anything different than you could see during the day. So with that said, I would definately do Fantasmic.

definitely see the fantasmic show. you can do AK in one day so missing EMH will not be that tragic.

IMHO, you do not want to miss Fantasmic - It's wonderful! My family has seen it twice already and on our next trip (in 21 days ) we will make a special trip to MGM to see it.

Why do you void the evening EMH?

I believe these people refer to the EMH's as the worse time to visit due to masses of people. We do the opposite and attend the EMH. We do not get there at their starting time, thats when the masses are trying to enter and the turn stiles are jammed. We attend about 30-45 minutes into the EMH, all the people mostly have entered and it just like any other day in a Disney park moving with the thongs. Everyone spreads out into the lands and its normal. We never skip the extra hours, even if you only attend for an hour, its worth it. The evening hours are the best, imagine staying in the MK till 1 am, I don't care how many people are there, its the best place on earth and any extended time there is magical.

Why do you void the evening EMH?

We have found that the park gets so crowded from onsite visitors coming to the open park, it becomes crazy. The worst example is the Magic Kingdom at night. Once, the line for Space Mountain was out into the plaza.

My husband and son ran around MK like little kids during the EMH -----the park was open til at least 2 am......and was theirs for the taking.......not many strollers out this time of night......only disadvantage is that you have to sleep sometime!!!
