Hi Mom2Em,
Just one book huh? I do believe I am on book #4 for Girl Scouts. Of course my girls are finishing up their 8th year.
I've done a wide array of title pages - mainly because when I started this 8 years ago I had NO IDEA what I was doing. That initial title page is a group shot of the troop with a list of the membership and our troop number and level. Just written on the black page with gold ink!
Over the years I have started each year in a similar manner. Usually the photo isn't one that was taken at the start of the year but something that was particularly significant about the year. Most LSS have some cute piecings that you can "dress" as the level. I've used that on a couple of starting pages - one for Juniors and once for Cadettes, but I know there are also "clothes" for Brownies. I've used stencils, block letter diecuts, you name it for the Level and year. I always include the grade and calendar year. For instance: 8th grade, 2003-2004.
I'd post a link but I don't have any of my stuff up anywhere it can be seen.
