Help Time Again!! - It's only me......

Ok, yes it is me again. The one who is oblivious to the
computer world. I adore the jumping smiles on the
boards and the graphics that everyone uses. I have
tried and tried and even tried again and for some
reason can never get the hang of it.

Can anyone let me know what I might be doing wrong.

Hi Dana

when you click on the "reply" button it brings you to the screen where you type your message where you found the smile next to your name is the bouncing pink and green smiles. "pink" does not work properly. just click on the bouncing smile and it will be added to your post. Make sure that at the bottom of the message box you do NOT have the box check that says " Disable Smiles in this post". Does that help any?

inkbounc he jumps but he always has the "inkbounc" behind him because that "" is a command in programming language. He's been broke since we got our boards a year ago almost.

Besides being the most awesome group ever!!
And you know I do not give that compliment to
often!!

I want to thank you all first for all the help
offered. But Dom, when they told me the
pink spot did not jump (let alone wink and smile
shown above hehe) I really felt like it was not
me and I had some hope (hehe)...... Ok,
we are ready for class.

Kathryn, I am determined to have graphics and
jumping spots and ********* (anything at this point hehe).

I would have offered a pin also!!! But yes
you are very fortunate to have Raul Pin Boy
in the other room, you guys are just THE BEST!!!

I will attempt to add jumping spots and we will
see how we do.



I looked at the bottom and it shows smiles ON IMG ON Everything shows
like it should work so is everyone ready??????

P.S.: Dom - The smiles with the Mickey ears are to COOOOOL!!!

P.S.S.: You all can really tell huh how I am sooooo educated with the
computer. I really have to learn how to be more candid and sound
smart and try to listen instead of giving myself up soooooo easily hehe!!

But I did use the green jump and the smooth.....

I was worried about the pink jump!!

BUT WE HAVE BOUNCING (Spots that is - hehe).......

I think I am going to just go back and look and look
(so proud, it is a big deal for me!!!!)

Now, off to graphics. Stop laughing!!! Yes, we will
get there. I am deteremined. The flying tinkerbell
is my quest.

OK since it looks like I'm not going to be as successful as Chip was with my pin ( LOL ) here are the instructions to make the pin bounce work.

OTPION 1: (Proabably the easier way)
1. Go to the following site: http://www.wdwinfo.com/sites/family/sssss.html

2. Click on Page 2.

3. Click on the Pink Bouncer. (he may stop bouncing at this point but don't worry)

4. Down the bottom of the page you will see the following highlighted. (I added somw spaces so it wouldn't turn in to a bouncer)

5. Place the Mouse pointer over this line, right click, click on copy, then paste it into your post.

NOTE: these instructions will work with any of the Smilies on this site.


OPTION 2:

1. Place the mouse over the Pink Bouncer on the lewft side of the posting screen.

2. Right click then click on Properties.

3. Highlight the entire address (URL) which in this case would be: http://64.225.125.24/forums/images/smilies/boldpurple.gif

4. With the mouse pointer on top of the highlighted text right click and press copy.

5. Press the IMG button at the top of the posting window, and press SHIFT and INSERT at the same time. This will add the address to the Window. Click OK.

To get Multiple Pink Bouncers either repeat step 5 as many times as you wish or copy the text that was added to your post and paste it as many times as you would like.

Thank you for all the help. I will try the graphics.

Is there a way to print out the posts with the
instructions you gave me? If not then I have to
go back and forth. I tried to print the post thread
and it would not let me.

Dana Highlight the text, copy it, and paste it into a word processing program. You should be able to print it from there. Another option would be to open up 2 windows. One with this post and another with what you are working on.
