When I vacation, I also take a vacation from my typical low-carb lifestyle...

I love the bread pudding at Tusker House and 'Ohana... tell me where else can I find some good bread pudding? And is there any available from bakeries or CS restaurants instead of just at TS restaurants?

Thanks! :goodvibes

Raglan Road get more fuss made over their bread pudding than anywhere else I've seen.

I am a low carber, too. Looking forward to my time of indulgence, as well!:rotfl:

We should start a club! The Low-Carb Except in Disney Club! :goodvibes

Raglan Road - I almost forgot about that one... I have heard good things about that. Putting it on my future to-do list... Thanks!

Raglan Road's bread pudding tops 'Ohana's for me!!!! They are both heavenly though!!:lovestruc

I'm in! I have never gained weight at WDW because of all the walking and swimming that we do--so I take a vacation from my diet!

I remember gaining a mere 1.5 pounds one trip (nearly 2 weeks off my LC routine), and it all came off in the first 2-3 days after returning home! I never exercise more than when I'm in Disney World... why can't exercise always be so fun?

I love bread pudding but only get it at Disney. Boma is another place where it is really good.

Another low carb girl here! I can't wait for a little indulgence in a few. All the walking and I have a gym at my resort will cancel out a little decadent dining.

I've had delicious bread pudding at breakfast in 1900 PF at the GF and at the Cape May Cafe breakfast at the BC. I've read many times about the delicious bread pudding at the Main Street Bakery and I plan on trying it on our next trip.

Welcome to the club! :grouphug:

I was going to say you won't even need the gym, but then I saw in your signature that you'll be doing deluxe dining - wow, I'd be having a bit more than "a little indulgence" if I were doing that!

Main Street Bakery? Didn't know that... I will have to try that!

So is there any bread pudding at other bakeries or other CS restaurants?

I can't even begin to describe to you how ridiculously divine Raglan Road's bread pudding is!! They gave my DMIL a free one on her birthday a few months ago and we were all savoring every single bite. The vanilla sauce is so good!

Every year I try to find some non-TS bread pudding, and so far I've only found it at MSB, but it's banana, and I don't like banana.

Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding is the BEST thing I have ever eaten in my life! If I could go back ten years I would substitute it for my wedding cake! I have made it at home twice using the recipe here on the DIS (). Fabulous. Simply fabulous. Dreaming about it now and drooling. :goodvibes

Not CS, but San Angel Inn at WS has bread pudding:

Capirotada de Chocolate Blanco -basically white chocolate bread pudding with a caramel sauce.

I am not a lo carber (which is probably 3/4 of my problem:laughing:) but that is my 2 cents on bread pudding at WDW!

Have you had this dessert and do you have an opinion about it?

The one at the Main Street Bakery is a Banana Bread Pudding and it is SOOOOO good!!! It is my absolute, favorite, #1 thing to eat on every trip. Pair it with a frozen latte from there too and I'm :cloud9:
