Help Thinking of Buying but have questions

We are also considering buying into DVC and I have a question!

Ok..so let's say I buy new at AKV I would get the early booking window. And 7 months at other DVC resorts. If I were to then buy a small resale for a different DVC resort too do I then get the early booking window for that resort as well or only still AKV???

I am sort of new to all of this, too, but from what I understand if you own points at two seperate resorts you would have the 11-month early booking at each resort using the points for that resort only, but could combine both sets of points to use at one resort for the 7th month booking.

Oooh ok..I think I understand now! It would be awesome if they allowed you pool the points and give you a longer booking window at both!!! one can dream!
