Hello!

I have a dilemma that I am hoping I can get some input on. We are going to IOA for one day. It's just me and my sister, both adults and we plan to spend most, if not all, of the day in WWoHP. We may do Ripsaw, Jurassic Park, and Hulk (just my sister via single rider) if we have time.

Our original plan was to go on Saturday, 4/30. This was a grad night and the hours were 9-5. My thinking was with the shorter hours people may skip it to go another day when the hours were longer even though it was a Saturday. Now they have changed the hours to 8-6. We cannot get there until 8:45 at the earliest and it could be right at 9.

I was already a bit worried about getting there right at RD when onsite people have been there a full hour. Now with the new hours, they will have been there a full two hours and everyone else a full hour.

We could possibly go Monday, May 2, instead. The hours are 9-7. Would this be better? (Again 8:45 would be the earliest but we'd be there by 9)

Saturday fits a bit better with our plans. We'll have a very late night (2:30 AM at MK) the night before if we go Monday. Crowds don't bother us and we expect them. I'm more worried about not getting our fill of WWoHP in from 9-6 on Saturday if we can't get there right at RD at 8. Are they ever handing out return times for WWoHP this early? That is my fear I guess- that we will show up at 9 on the Saturday and have to get a return time for the afternoon or something.

(Also I have read recently about castle tours only. Is the line as long for this? I think it would save us some time just to ride single rider on FJ and then do the castle tour.)

Thank you all in advance for your advice and listening to me freak out.

I would think you would be fine with your original day and yes it will be busy but with you two being adults and no kids should be no problem
Plus the fact WWOHP is not very big and I think the longest part of your time may be waiting to ride FJ :thumbsup2

I have never seen nor read of anyone who has waited at all for the castle tour queue. The trick is finding it. There is usually a TM just past the lockers that is guiding folks to the main queue. At that point, the main queue goes on at about your 11 o'clock (straight ahead and to the left), the single-rider queue is at your 9 o'clock (left) and up some stairs, and the castle tour queue is at 1 o'clock (straight ahead and to the right). The CT queue is roped off usually, but the TM will open it for you if you ask.

And yes, on busy days you can do the castle tour and single-rider queues in a fraction of the time it would take to do the main queue by itself. The only major area exclusive to the main queue is the greenhouse, and that is nothing all that special IMO. The longest wait I've heard for SR is 30 minutes at the outside, and almost always more like 5-10.

Thank you so much! I would never have known this and now know where to look. We may wait in the queue once to see the greenhouse anyway, but do the castle tour to see everything again and single rider for subsequent rides.

Believe me, you will not be spending all day in the WWoHP. Is it like saying you are going to spend all day in Fantasyland. Half a day is even really, really pushing it.

We plan to stay until we have decided we've had enough. It likely won't be all day and then we'll use the rest of the time at other rides in the park. However, it could be all day if we decide to ride things multiple times or just take our time since this is kind of our down day too. We are huge fans and will likely explore every nook and really take our time looking at all the items in the shops. Our priority is the WWoHP. We'll likely do more, but also won't be disappointed if we don't. It's nice to know though that we will definitely get through the WWoHP in the time we have. Thanks!
