Help! Temporary CS

The Comtemporary is only going to have a temporary CS set up while we're there. The Food and Fun Center will be closed.

Do you think we will be able to use the dining plan to get breakfast? Did anyone experience this when their resort's CS closed for renovations?

Is there a CS breakfast restaurant at the MK? I couldn't find one. It looks like Main Street Bakery is the only place that serves any type of breakfast item.

Last year, the CS at the Poly was being remodeled, so they had a temporary location. Though I don't know what the CR will have set up, the Poly did have a grill at their temporary place which served many breakfast items including a combination platter with eggs, bacon, biscuit and such, and Mickey waffles. Also, they had the standard cold items like cereal and Pop-Tarts, as well as bagels and pastries and yogurt. Generally, breakfast is not the best way to use a CS credit, but we had plenty of options at the temporary location last year for using CS and snack credits at breakfast as well as paying OOP if we wanted.

I personally wouldn't use a CS credit on breakfast but that is me. I think it is more worth it to use a snack credit on a pastry and buy a drink (which you can do most places) or a box of donuts and a couple drinks for your party. It holds me over till an early lunch (best for crowd levels ).

That being said I am sure that the CS they set up will accept the dining plan to accomadate guests. I would call Dining reservation and ask them to be sure.

We need to use CS credits for some of our breakfasts or we waste them. It's just the way my family eats.

I do hope they serve some hot items. Some family members need protein in the morning.
