Help! Swiffer cloth replacements?

I have a swifter not a swiffer so I have a bottle of cleaner that squirts. I was sick of buying the expensive pads that dont really absorb well and leave a film on the floor. I use an old beach towel and hold on the one end while I swift with the other end. Leaves no film and I just throw it in the wash to clean.

They are ALL SwiFFers...NOT swifTers. One is SwiFFer Wet Jet. Many people pronounce them with the "T" but there is no letter T. Look at your Swiffer Wet Jet and you will see there is no T.!!!!

Cut up a pair of old flannel jammies - flannel works great!

The BEST thing to use for a dry swiffer mop is used dryer sheets. You need two per swiffer. They pick up every little piece of lint imaginable.

For my swiffer DRY sweeper, I have been using the same box of swiffer cloths that I purchased 8 years ago. Seriously. I just throw the dirty ones in the wash with a load of towels. I think I've had two rip beyond use in 8 years.

I expect that the design has changed a LOT since I purchased mine!

For the wet jet on wood floors, I just use the swiffer brand pads with hm vinegar/water solution in the cleaner bottle. I have to use pliers to get the cap off of the bottle.
