Help!-sweatshirts at wdw

I've been looking for sweatshirts for our upcoming trip but can't find anything I like. Even the local Disney Store had very little selection. So now I've switched my game plan to getting something at WDW, or ordering something beforehand and having it sent here to use as Christmas gifts.

I would like to get a better idea of what sort of sweatshirts are available at Disney World. If you've bought one recently (or been recently and saw what was available), what was the selection like? How do prices run for children and adult sizes? I definitely know we'll need a Grumpy sweatshirt. For the others, I was thinking classic characters or something related to Disney World.

I bought a blue hoodie, it had that stonewashed-faded look, with a 1930-ish looking mickey. I think it was very nice, and there was a similar brown with grumpy. It was a good quality material, for about 45.00, at mgm, last friday. They had lots of sweats, lots of choices, but when it's cold they sell fast.

sorry, no pic's of them, but I bought two....a white lightweight one with "gem" tink on it (zipper), and a gray christmas one (pull over)...my sister bought a gray 2006 zipper hoodie!

I bought a zip up hoodie at Epcot that had Micky on the back surrounded by world flags. It says "One Mouse, One World" down one sleeve and has the same icon on the front chest as on the back. I've never seen anything like it and I love it. It's very unique!!! Even when I was AT disneyworld I didn't see one person with that sweatshirt. I got it at Mouseworks I think it's called...sorry my brain is off today can't seem to remember anything...anyhow, HUGE store in the Innoventions area. Love it!!!

I bought my Dsis and I really cute reversible sweatshirts at the Emporium a few weeks ago. They reverse from gray to pink, and have an embroidered Tink on the left side, where a polo horse or izod gator would be on a shirt. It's subtle but still Disney.

Honestly, they have so many styles at the Emporium,you'll definitely find something you'll like. I even remember seeing Grumpy ones!

We lucked out 2 years ago at AK rainforest cafe and got two sweatshirts for less then $30.

I ordered the Christmas sweatshirt last month and it just arrived a few days ago. Disney merchandising has a cut off date for shipping things for Christmas. I believe the cut off is today or in the next two days. Oh the christmas sweatshirt is grey with a great group character design and says "Joy from the World, 2006"

If you want to buy a sweatshirt in WDW, you better like hoodies. The selection of conventional sweatshirts are very limited. If you do not mind hoodies then there are plenty varieties in which to choose.

DH got a gray retro look WDW sweatshirt last Oct for around $38. I got a MM sweatshirt that has a short zipper at the neck and a band at the bottom that I love for around $45. The $38 was one of the cheaper sweatshirts. Sorry no pix but if I find any I'll post them.

I agree with this post. We were there 2 weeks ago and the only true sweatshirts were holiday ones. Hoodies and zip up hoodies galore. Of course, they are more expensive than traditional sweatshirts!

I've gotten lots of hoodies from Disneyshopping.com I have four right now, that I'm taking with me next week, a pink Bambi one, a light blue Tink, a dark blue Mickey, and a light blue Eeyore one. I also have a sweatshirt I got from E-bay, which has five couples kissing.
