HELP! Summer clothes in September!

I'm from Missouri, so our summer pretty much ends mid August. My problem is that I am currently going to a weight loss clinic and losing weight, which doesn't seem like a problem, UNLESS I am going to WDW at the end of September and will have no summer clothes to wear! EEEK! I have NO IDEA what size I will be wearing in almost 3 months.

Does anyone know of stores (online b/c there won't be any local) that sell summer clothes year long or at least late into the season? I was just on Old Navy.com and they already have a lot of summer stuff marked down and are out of a lot of sizes. OR somewhere that has a reeeeeeally long return period where I can buy 2 sizes (one I dream for and a realistic one) and then return whichever one doesn't fit?

I don't want to have to look frumpy trying to hold my current summer clothes up (God willing)! And I don't want to spend a fortune on clothes I can't wear... or a fortune on clothes period, which is why I like Old Navy, but they're return policy is 45 days, which won't be long enough but their stuff will be sold out by the time I'm in that window! Sheesh. :headache:

Thanks guys!

Kohls will take back things pretty much forever if you have a receipt, JcPenney is 90 days, I think Sears is too.

Or you could shop when you get to FL but that's a pain!

Lands End has a forever return policy - you can return things at any time for any reason.

Also right now they're summer stuff is on sale - got to love that! So if I were you I'd check into their things - pick out a couple of things/ sizes and keep the receipts!!

If you order from within a Sears store (if you want something that's online and not physically in their Lands End section) the shipping is free!

Thanks everyone :) Another part of my problem is that right now I'm at the threshold of plus and not plus sized! I'm going to start shopping around at these places a bit and see what I can come up with! I love Old Navy, but if I can't return it after 45 days, I'm not wasting the money!

Target is 90 days, I think Wal Mart is too. You might check them just in case......

Congrats on your weight loss by the way! :)

Another pp suggested that you could wait and shop in Florida, That won't work, I live here and I am having to buy my kids back to school clothes now, because in August all the stores will have jeans and no shorts to be found. I have finally learned this lesson, after 7 years of waiting too long and really scrounging for shorts.

I really don't have any suggestions, but look at the bright side, at least you will be looking for smaller clothes instead of bigger ones. :thumbsup2

I would suggest on line from any of your favorite stores, they usually have some stuff at clearance prices.

Plus, you can return any Lands End stuff, no matter where you ordered it from, to your local Sears. That means you don't have pay any return shipping. :woohoo:

BTW, good for you on the weight loss!!

do you have an outlet mall near you? i just checked my gap receipt from teh outlet and their return policy is 90 days (which i think the actual store is only 30). the clearance rack there is sometimes slim pickings but they had plenty of long sleeve tees still on it for the memorial day sale and i know they always have tees and tanks as does the BR outlet.

Great! Thanks for the kudos everyone, it's been a struggle, but sometimes you just have to put the muffin down and walk away!
