Hi there. Can anyone recommend the best way to include Wishes fireworks in our Wedding? We would love a Wishes Cruise on Grand 1 but we may have too many guests (20-25) for that. I could hire 2-3 pontoon boats but am not sure how the photography would work? (Can a photographer join us onbaord as we really want to capture some of those beautiful shots of the couple with fireworks in the background). Has anyone used Sago Cay for reception/dessert party? Is the view good/photography turn out good? I've heard positive and negative reviews. Also heard about viewing from the roof top of the California Grill? How many people can get up there? Could a photographer be with us? Can you hear the Wishes music? Sorry girls! A million questions i know, but any help would be most appreciated and i am open to any other suggestions! Wishes has real sentimental value for us as we got engaged after the fireworks! Many Thanks xxx

We have the Marina booked for drinks & desserts for our "Welcome Gathering". We're paying the $500 to have Wishes piped in as well. We're able to have photographer of choice there with us.

Good luck!

For that many people, I vote for a dessert party at Sago Cay.

This thread is a great resource for pictures of the fireworks from there:

Food and beverage minimums are $500 for dessert parties and $1,000 for a reception. No venue-rental fee.

You would need to all be dining at California Grill in order to get access to the viewing area, and with that big a group, you'd probably want a private room. The cheapest is the Sonoma Room, which doesn't have a view of the fireworks but does have access to a catwalk where you can view them. The music is piped in. The food and beverage minimum is $2,000.

Thanks so much. Do you know if the catwalk would be limited to our guests only or would it be available to the public? Seriously, thankyou so much, you have so much knowledge about all this! I looked at your PJ, your wedding looked beautiful. I'm gonna have to get a planning journal started once we actually get the ball rolling on everything! We're hoping for September/October 2011! Fingers crossed! x

No problem! :thumbsup2

The catwalks for the two private rooms are limited just to the people paying for those rooms. The main viewing area for CA Grill is open to anyone who has dined there that night.

I'd recommend Sago Cay. Ours were some of the pictures in the link Lurkyloo posted. The fireworks were very visible from their intended point of view (looking straight on at the castle). We paid to have the music piped in, which felt like we were right in the park.

If you view them from the CG, they're off-center...more like viewing them over Space Mountain. I thought our pics turned out great, too.

Thanks, just checked out your pics! They look great! Did you use Disney photography?
