I have 2 days - Doing Epcot & MK
The question is in what order? I have the 2 & 3 of may to go which means a Friday and a Saturday. According to Easy WDW the days are a 5 & 6, Friday is the least recommended for Epcot and Saturday for Mk. That said the hours are longer for both which might be of use since the trip is going to be so short.
I'm also dealing with a late arrival on Friday (by late I mean around noon or so as we'll be coming off the Magic and it will take time to debark and check in at the French Quarter.) So we'll miss rope drop at whichever park we go to that day. Which is why originally I chose Epcot as with a set of FP we should be able to ride most anything I want to ride (I think there's a total of 5 rides in Epcot we care about and only 1 of theme is Tier 1).

So I guess my question is, which is more important? To hit the most recommended day (Which if I switch the order to Friday: Mk & Sat: Epcot I'll have) or to make rope drop at Mk?

I would stick with Epcot on Friday and Magic Kingdom on Saturday if you can only hit rope drop on Saturday. You may lose a little with a more crowded MK on Saturday but you will come out with a net gain because of the hours you will pick up.
