Help - so frustrated trying to link with MDE

Hi all: Need your help again. If I go on DVC and try to link my tickets and reservation etc. it will tell me to go to MDE. When I go to MDE and try to link the reservation it says that I already did it somewhere else. I'm getting so frustrated because I can't link my tickets because everywhere says I'm linked somewhere else. Can anyone provide a step by step to correct this? Ugh...............I've been at it for weeks. thanks
 
Do you have another MDE account that the reservation could be linked to? We have this problem. We have a September reservation that is not DVC and a November one that is. My husband linked the September reservation to his MDE account but our AP were purchased on the other account. You may have to call tech support to straighten it out.
 
Do you use the same email address for both your DVC and Disney accounts? If they are different then sometime a person ends up with a second Disney account with the same email address and password as the DVC account.

And yes, call Disney IT.
 
Thanks you guys. That's exactly it - I had an account set up with my old email address and one with my newer address. I appreciate the help as always. :)
