MY DH and I were going to go to Disneyland for our very delayed Honeymoon, but there are too many rides being refurbished that we decided to try WDW:goodvibes!

So far we have booked our flight, hotel, la nouba, and our adr's(thanks to a very extremely helpful CM at WDW DINE) I need help with strategy, What parks what days, and help with getting to Universal Studios for one day (we are desparate to ride the Mummy together)

Here is what I have so far:
Arrive MCO @ apx 7:00 PM On Thursday Feb 5th - how long does it take to get to WDW from the airport?

We have reservations at the Value resort Pop Century (not very romantic but affordable we really don't plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel anyway)

Fri 6th- ADR at Chefs de France for lunch
Sat 7th- ADR at Coral Reef for late supper
Sun 8th- ADR at chef Mickey's for Breakfast
- ADR at 1900 Park Fare for late supper
Mon 9th- ADR at Kona Cafe for breakfast
- ADR at Mama Melrose with Fantasmic
Tues 10th- ADR at Boma for breakfast
- La Nouba Seats at 9 pm show
Wed 11th - ADR at Le Cellier for late lunch

Thurs 12th- planned day to go to Universal, How can we get there? Any suggestions?
Fri 13th - Last night Whispering Caynon for early supper as we have to pack and get ready for our early morning flight on Sat (we have to leave the resort at 2 am lol! )

So based on that where should I be and when, or am I even asking the right questions lol!

Help Please!

Well I have found that all those restaurants are very good. The only ones I haven't been to are Chefs, 1900, and Kona for breakfast, however I am going to Chefs and Kona in Jan. I have heard very good things about all of these though.

Pop Century may not be romantic but it is a nice hotel. DBF and I have stayed there many times.

I have never been to La Nouba but I have been to other Cirque de Soleil and they are excellent.

The time it takes from the airport all depends on your bus driver if you are taking Magical Express. On our one trip, the way there was no longer than 30-45 mins. But on the back it took us at least an hour if not longer:scared1:

You can get to Universal by taxi, I think that is your best bet.

I hope this helped you :flower3:

http://www.touringplans.com/tp2/UG2_index.php?PageID=0 is a good site for park strategy. Use DME (Disney's Magical Express) to get from MCO to your resort.....didn't they mention that to you when you booked? As for getting to Universal Studios for a day :confused3 maybe take a cab...rent a car for the day...not sure, never ventured outside of WDW. Also, the DIS site http://www.wdwinfo.com/ has at TON of WDW information for you...check it out.

Congrats on taking your honeymoon, finally. You said Disneyland, but I am sure you meant WDW. :teeth:

There used to be a bus service that would take you to and from WDW/Universal. It was like $35 round-trip per person. I thought it was Mears, but I am not sure if they still do that.

Are you using DME to get to your hotel from MCO? If so, this could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. It depends on where you are on the bus route and how many busses they have running DME that day.

C'mon now it's your honeymoon you should be spending most of your time in the room! ;)
