HELP! September trip planning/advice needed

Hi!

I need some advice for our next disney trip! We are annual passholders, and "usually" visit 3-4 times a year. However, we have just had our second baby in 20 months, so we have been visiting disney a little less frequently. Our last trip was September 2003 w/ baby #1.

Here are my questions:

1. WHat resorts are likely to have AP discounts in September, and what do you reccommend for 2 kids uinder 2? We prefer deluxe or moderate, and have stayed at and enjoyed the WL, GF, Poly, and Port Orleans.

2. Our passes expire in September (the 25th) and we will re-purchase passes in Jan 2005, for a magical gatherings trip. Disney doesn't list any "official events in september, but I know there are probably things we would want to avoid--as in, soap weep, cheerleaders, or the like... we want to go as late in september as possible, to avoid hurricane season (we are in SC< so it is an issue for both us and florida), and to be away from the summer a bit.

So, what would you reccommend for a resort and date? We usually stay for a week or so. I would like to make reservations now, and just transfer them when (hopefully) an AP rate becomes available.

Any thoughts/advice?

DD15 and I used to go the second week in September (now we have to go during summer vacation).

September is value season, so you are already saving money! We happen to personally love the moderates. Since you have very young ones, perhaps a deluxe on the monorail would be easier for you. That way you can go back to the room easily when nap times comes. Or if one adult has to take a break with one of the kids...
