I need help! Loews have now published price reductions for Oct which means that we could now stay in a standard room at the Portofino for the same price as we were going to pay for RPR! Should we switch to Portofino or stay and enjoy the lower rate at RPR????:confused3

I have stayed at both and personally it would be a no brainer for me: PBR all the way. The rooms are so much bigger and if the price difference isn't that big, I say go for it. PBR is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. :cloud9:

Now, that being said, we are also going to Universal in October and I can't decide if I want to go with PBR for $239. or try HRH for $229. (I have had RPR booked for several months - going to let that one go) which we have never stayed at. Hate letting that great rate go for PBR. :confused3

Definitely PBH over RPR.

To me, HRH vs. PBH is a tougher decision. IMHO, PBH is the nicest onsite resort. HRH has location, location, location. It's also a nice resort. Flip a coin! ;)

Edited to clarify: I was replying to both OscarsMum & rlduvall. After rereading my post, I'm not sure that was clear.

If you are more than a party of two, then I would switch. Otherwise, remember that it is a little further of a walk.

We've stayed at all three and personally, I would switch.

I have to also vote for the PBH

Actually, I totally got it :) and appreciate your input. Still can't decide which to go with. My heart wants PBH (love those bathrooms:cloud9: ), but my DH would like HRH because we have never stayed there - but he said it's up to me because he knows I love PBH. Gee, thanks. ;)
