HELP Rotation question Western

I think I messed up! Somebody posted to request PLAPLAP so we would be in Parrot Cay on Pirate night and Lumiere's on formal night, however, if I did the math correctly this is all wrong. I'm going to drive our TA nuts. Can somebody clarify for me before I email the TA yet again? WHich rotation puts me in Parrot Cay on Pirate night and Lumiere's on Formal night?

I think for the Western it is APLAPLA.
Formal night is on Monday...and Semi formal is on Friday...both Sea days. I'm not 100% sure...but I think Pirate night is on Thursday (night at Cozumel?)...but again...I'm not sure about that one. I'm sure if it's differnt someone will let you know.

Pirate night is Wednesday (Coz)...APL rotation will put you in Parrot Cay on this eve....Semi formal night is second sea day, which is Thurs.....

The other great thing about APL rotation is it puts you in Lumieres, the most elegant and formal of the rotation restaurants, on both Formal and semi formal eves....

Thank you. Somebody posted the incorrect information about a month ago and I told my TA to put in a request for the wrong nighs. Hopefully she can fix it! I have us in all the wrong places on all the wrong nights.

Oops...Just re-read what I posted...and your right...That what I ment to post...actually when I was typing it that's what I was thinking.... Friday is Castaway Cay day so I'm not sure why I stated the second sea day was friday??? Don't know where that came from...Guess I'm just trying to add in a few more days to the cruise....like I said it's the two sea days (formal and semi-formal)...and the night your at Cozumel..for pirate night. So sorry...just typed in the wrong "day of the week"..I know when I was thinking it...I was thinking Wed and Thursday...not Thursday and Friday....But like I said APLAPLA is the rotation you want. .

"in all the wrong places on all the wrong nights" You're on the ship. Now, if you're on the dock and the ship has left, then yes, you are in the wrong place. Other people are cooking and cleaning. You're eating and relaxing. I believe that by being on the ship you're in the right place!!! Dinning rotation won't make or break your trip, but if you don't get the "correct" rotation, your attitude most definately will effect your trip. BTW - you have a 33% chance of getting the "correct" rotation - pretty darn good odds!!

And please do not be disappointed if you do not get the rotation you REQUESTED....as it is only a request and never guaranteed so don't get yourself all set to have it and then get disappointed.

It really does not matter or does it affect your enjoyment of the cruise at all not to be in your requested dining rooms...

That is definitely true! We have never been in Lumiere's for formal night but have had a great time every night. Remember 2/3s of the ship wont be in that dining room on formal night so don't stress about it...seriously. You may have seen the eastern plan posted since their formal night is sunday & pirate night is tuesday.

Just have to second the "it doesn't really matter what room your in" We were in PC on Formal night...and still loved it. You'll still get your chance in Lumiers...even if it's not formal and semi-formal night. Relax...don't stress to much on what rotation you put in for....you'll have a good time no matter where you end up eating.

I am on the western May 7 and I requested PLA

My rationale is this.

We don't want to eat in the dining room on Key west night you end up missing the sunset : (
If we request PLA our character breakfast will be on Thursday (good)
This would put us in Lumieres on Key west day no big deal
Animators for Formal and semiformal

If we did LAP we would miss Animators the first night this is when they have the show and we have some newbies in our group that have never seen it before.

If we did APL we would miss character Breakfast because we have brunch plans

Oh my gosh too much to think about
no matter where you are you will have fun
I would not stress over it if I didn't get what I want.

Each Rotation has its pros and cons

APL is the definate rotation we prefer....We sail Thanksgiving week and Turkey day is then formal and pirate night is in PC...
