Ok, our trip date is when we will be at parks is Nov. 3-7 and man do I have questions:

I have read you need to make reservations 90 days in advance--so do I have ANY chance to get reservations at CRT for bkfast that week?
Assuming I can--what time does it start? Does it conflict with opening ceremonies?
Is CRT bkfast one of the best ones? I know personal opinion, what others are top on your lists? Is it one of the "cheaper" ones?
Now is this an all you can eat? Not a buffet?

If you cant tell by my recent posts I am clueless on so many things--I have been very educated by this board.

On Sundays and Thursdays, there is no opening show due to Extra Magic Hour. On non-EMH days, if you have a priority seating prior to park opening, you will probably miss the opening show (think 8am is the earliest seating, budget 45 min to an hour for breakfast, an you won't have time to finish and walk all the way back to the park entrance for the 8:45 opening show. You could try for a seating after 9am, if you absolutely have to see the opening show (it's nice if you've never seen it).
Sounds like you may have to make a decision (do it, don't second guess yourself, and enjoy whatever you end up doing.)

All character breakfasts are all-you-can eat. I believe Cindy's is a plated breakfast, which means that each person gets a prepared plate of food and then the server brings more out as necessary. Most all-you-can-eat meals that aren't buffets are served "family style" which means that the server brings out a skillet of food and everyone helps themselves, asking for more of whatever they want.
I've never had breakfast at Cindy's, so anyone who has, please feel free to correct me if I misunderstood the serving style.

CRT is plated. Arkiegirl, i have been trying for CRT for about a month after you all will be there. no luck so far. my advice to you is to keep trying as there may be a cancellation. another alternative might be donald's breakfastasarous at AK. we have enjoyed this one several times. good luck!

Steve's right about the way CRT is served. As for the ressie - usually they are completely booked up within minutes on the 1st day you can call. However, people have been able to get at a later time due to cancelations. I remember reading that it's also worth it to try once you get there.

If you don't have any success with CRT, we really like 1900 Park Fare with Mary Poppins. We grabbed a quick on-the-go breakfast (banana, crackers) at the resort & went to early opening. Then we went by monorail to the GF for our PS at 10:45. (The buffet doubled for lunch for us that day.) We really enjoyed this one - probably more so for the adults than CRT.

As for price, I thought they were all about the same. Have you checked the DIS dining database?

There's also a new one over in Epcot at Askerhaus in Norway (I think!) It's also princesses, princess: princess: so it may be selling out really early, too.

I've heard people really enjoy Chef Mickey's too. It's also very popular, but doesn't seem to book quite as quickly as CRT.

Good luck!

Hi... the character breakfasts are all around the same cost, none being cheaper than another...

If you are interested in a less expensive alternative (for character interaction) try the Ice Cream Social at EPCOT... it is only about $7.00 a person for a sit down ice cream treat in the Garden Grill and you get to meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip n' Dale...

Regarding CRT,

do you have ANY chance to get a PS?
Technically yes. Call sporadically to see if there have been any cancellations. Also you can ask that morning if there are any openings.

do you have a realistic chance to get a PS?
No. You have to be very lucky to have either of the chances mentioned above come through. I'd hate to see you have unrealistic expectations. Keep in mind there must be quite a few people each morning who ask at the castle and get turned away.
