Hi All,
Planning a trip for next July and starting to get some ideas together. We will be a party of 7 - 4 adults, a 3 year old, and two 1 year olds. What would your table service restaurant choices be??? Where would you eat in Disney Springs???
We are staying at Pop and I’m pretty sure we will be on the dining plan so def looking to maximize that!

At Disney springs? If you are looking to keep kids entertained, then maybe T-Rex or Rain Forest Cafe (Unless you think that the Dinosaur or animal theme might scare them).

Garden Grill and Crystal Palace for dinner, and Akershus Breakfast.

Be our guest CS for lunch or breakfast.

Flame Tree or Satuli for CS in Animal Kingdom.

Coral Reef in Epcot for dinner. (Kids love the aquarium)

Mama Melrose or Minnie seasonal Dine for dinner in DHS.

Tusker House for lunch or dinner in Animal Kingdom.

I really liek to kick off our trips with Chef Mickey dinner on our arrival night, but not many people seem to like this one. My family really loves it for getting into the DIsney mood.

Personally, I would grab CS in Disney Springs.

If you're doing the dining plan, the character meals that use single TS credits are generally a good use of a credit. We really enjoyed Garden Grill this past March with DS 5. Try and snag breakfast pre-park opening and you're in prime position to do Soarin if you want to without a FP.

We also did Tony's on the Festival of Fantasy package, which is a single credit. Food was decent (not awesome) but the VIP parade spot that was included totally made it worth it!

Oh, and POP has a great food court for your QS credits and so does AofA across the lake.

Even though the food isn’t great, Chef Mickey’s is a must do for kids those ages.

Coral Reef should keep the kids busy too. If you arrive early I’d request to sit near the glass. You might have to wait longer for a table, but the kids will love it.

Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village is good too. Food is delicious and animals are right outside the window. This is another place to request to sit next to the window when you check in. Be sure to eat there before sunset.

We like Homecomin’ or Raglan Road in Disney Springs. RR has live Irish dancers. Homecomin’ has southern cuisine.

Thanks!! I didn’t even think of Coral Reef ! Sanaa has been on my Disney restaurant bucket list for a while also!
We have eaten at RR before and enjoyed it.. my husband did some Irish dancing as a kid (and by some I mean he was really good and even performed at Carnegie Hall!) .. if he has enough beers he will try to get up there with them! Lol

We like it. It is not fine dining.... not by any stretch of the imagination, however we don’t expect that it would be. It is what it is, classic Disney character dining in an iconic Disney resort. We love to take newbies for a spin on the monorail TJ say hello to the MK and admire the monorail resorts and then end up exiting at the CR for dinner. This trip we have an adult newbie and since I am trying to fit in everyone’s requests we are going to head over to the MK (her wish ❤️) and then when the park closes for the Christmas party we will hop on the monorail to the Poly for Kona dinner, and hopefully have time to ride to Epcot for a sneak peek. Honestly the monorail view after dark is pretty darn awesome.

Okay, I really would try for RR. Your dh will like it.

Coral Reef is another iconic restaurant that sometimes relays on theme to carry it, however we still book it periodically. We have never had a bad meal, but some are way better than others. It is another new one for our guests.

A few years ago I kept the girls with me and their parents went to Sanaa fir dinner. It was one if their favorites.
