Help! Reservations seem impossible to get for Nov 2015

Geez...I can't even get a 4pm reservation at Big River Grille &Brewery on 11/12 . Doesn't seem like a very good system if 5 months out there's no where to eat! Maybe I'm not doing this right; Is the Disney site the only way to get a reservation? Can I call restaurants directly?

I thought Big River didn't accept reservations, and was walk-up only.

I'm trying to get H&V on Nov 18 or 19 for breakfast or lunch. No dice.

H&V has not had anything open (except for the occasional breakfast) for the entire week. We've never had problems with H&V before, hopefully the "glitch" gets worked out soon

I'm having a hard time with reservations for week of Nov 15th. We have always gone in September and had no big issues with ADRs and he crowds were so low everything was walk on.

I've always wanted to go for Christmas decorations, but it never worked out. This year, we decided to go the week before thanksgiving, and I know it won't be as crowdless as September but this lack of ADRs has me worried!

Sorry for the slightly off topic, but what and when is Jersey Week?

Our TA got all but one of the ADRs we were looking for but I've been trying for a week to change the time abd the exact same restaurants and times keep coming up. The biggies aren't showing as available at all for me.

Jersey Week is nothing Official its more like an Urban legend type thing. IN New Jersey the whole state has public schools closed for 2 days in November and most of us take a nice fall vacation around that. This year its the first week of November a lot of Mass. schools are off as well.

Thank you for the clarity - just was curious. I usually go in October and don't hear of these things.

We are holding H&V for lunch on the 14th, 16th, & 18th - none at our ideal times or dates, but there were some reservations available right at 180+ days.

I suspect I'm not the only one holding multiple, and they'll get released as people figure out when they'll be at each park.

Can you be sure to add it to the Nov Cancel forum? I'd like to coordinate the 16th if possible.

I have 2 res at Epcot for dinner for 4 on 11/19 and will be dropping one when we decide. Will be sure to post in the cancellation thread before I do. That's the ONLY double ADR I have - there was nothing else to choose from!

FYI, I'm seeing a lot of dinner options at Epcot for 11/16-19 (a lot of the 18th). If anyone was looking for anything. (no coral reef, askerhaus or garden grill).

Yes, please post them on the Nov. Cancellation Thread if you cancel. I'd love that one on the 18th.

Glad to hear things might be glitchy because I'm struggling getting what we need (BOG & cinderella's table dinner reservations some time from 11/17-19). I did the whole online at 6 exactly 180 days out thing and nothing was bookable until hours later :/

I just realized holding & canceling is a thing... No I don't feel so bad for booking that way-too-late-for-my-kids 9pm BOG reservation that I'll have to cancel.

I just checked a couple days in early August when I would expect high crowds and can book pretty much any restaurant I want. How in the world can Disney keep saying the lack of choices in November is normal?

Even though the parks are busier in the summer, the restaurants are not. They are busier in free dining periods. We've booked summer trips only a few weeks out and have had BOG and CRT with choices of times. Free dining does bring a bigger demand for the table services.

My dates are almost the same as yours. I got BOG and CRT but I was online and ready to go right at 6am EST. It wasn't too long after I booked my ADRs that the site crashed and people have been having troubles ever since! I was hoping to tweak some of my times but it looks like that's not happening! Hopefully more stuff opens up! Good luck to you! I hope you can score your ADRs!! Are you following the November cancellation thread? Maybe something will come up on there?
