Hi there,

it´s our first trip to WDW and to be honest... I didn´t know that it is so important to make dining reservations so far in advance.
Our home resort is Disneyland Paris and there you don´t have such problems.

The problem is: I just tried to make reservations for our trip an nowhere are tables available :-(

I´m so dissapointed!
Do you think it is possible to get a last minute table or something like this?
For example, we would love to have breakfast at Tusker House.
Is it possible to go there in the morning and ask for a table? Or will they let you only in the park, if you have reservation?

Thanks!!!!!!!

When are you going?

Tusker House is hard to get but chances are that a slot will open up before your trip. It doesn't hurt to try for a walk in but chances are pretty low for a character meal.

You need a ticket to get into the park. You can only get in early though if you have a reservation. I think you may have better luck making a reservation at Cape May for breakfast or Garden Grill for dinner.

Keep trying everyday to get the reservations you want online. I did most of mine at 180 day out but there were a few I couldn't get but 2 of the ones I was having trouble getting I just got in the past week as slots opened up.

I have been trying for Garden Grill for months but still haven't gotten in there! Don't give up hope...just keep trying! ;)

I agree- keep trying online. I've had some restaurants that I really wanted open up for me but I was checking online pretty often. Good luck! :goodvibes

Definitely keep trying online, but some ressies are harder to get then others...it seems like I've had an easier time getting into Cinderella's Royal Table than in Tusker House for breakfast! But, if you can't get an ADR, then I do suggest that you at least try at the restaurant...the worst thing they can do is say no. Check with your resort concierge, too, never know when a last minute cancellation might come in.

Good Luck!

Have you tried different times? often the 9pm time slots are open for dinner. Sometimes at opening for a meal you can get a slot as a walk in. We have had success at opening of lunch at biergarten, Coral Reef, and Sci Fi Dine In. Opening of dinner at Cape May Cafe. But have been turned away from Ohana, Le Cellier, and Chef Mickey. Keep trying, cancellations occur!

One year, I wanted to eat Christmas Day at the Crystal Palace. I called almost every day and finally the day before Christmas an opening occurred, I was very surprised and happy!!

Bonjour - how many in your party? I just tried 11/30/10 (Nov. 30) for dinner for a party of 4 on the WDW online site and found 49 restaurants available - including some nice ones such as Ohana and Boma. When you search don't limit the search by place or experience and choose a meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner are the categories) rather than a specific time. You will get a list of all restaurants that have availability. Do make some ADRs before you go, trying to eat standby (walking up and asking if a table is available) could become very frustrating.
Bonne chance:cutie:

Try to be a bit more flexible in your times and locations. While restaurants like Tusker House and Chef Mickey's are pretty tough to get into, you shouldn't have too many problems with places like Akershus, Garden Grill and Cape May, depending upon your flexibility.
