Long time lurker, new poster.

Im 22, been to Disneyland Paris before when i was like 12 and i am thinking of taking my g.f on a trip there sometime next year.I've been looking at prices on expedia and they are affordable. I have got some questions that i would like to be answerd...

I live in South Yorkshire, is it best to travel by train or plane, Manchester Airport is only 1 hr away and if i went by train i and go, Sheffield - St Pancras - Paris right ?

What is the better times to travel to DP ? I would love to take my g.f around Christmas time but it would be nice to take her away for her birthday ( march ).

Thanks for reading and hope to speak soon.

Welcome to the DIS byeo

I would say that either plane or train is an doable for you, though the plane is probably going to be the quicker option. Jet2 is a budget airline flying from Manchester - so that is worth checking. :)

Christmas at DLP is wonderful and there is more going on than in March. But it is still fun whatever time of year you visit. And if you visit this March the 15th Anniversary celebration will still be on

Hi
As Bexx says either plane or train is good. I understand that the new Eurostar service from St Pancras will be selling tickets straight through from regional stations to Paris (including, I think, DLP) from mid December. Whether these will be more convienient or better value for money, I don't know but might be worth checking out. I have been to DLP by both plane and train and like the train much better. There is something magical about approaching Chessy station and catching you first glimpse of SM or BTM. Christmas will be fantastic but busy. March will be much quieter, although remember that Easter is late March in 2008 and the British (and probably French) schools will probably be off from mid March on.
Have a great trip whatever you decide!!!!:cheer2:
