Help regarding TRex - Moderator maybe?

I noticed on the opening page it's listed that TRex will be open 10-14. I've called Disney 6+ times and they say no, that maybe even late November. The Disney website and Landry's website do not show a confirmed date either. I was just wondering because I know that releasing a specific date is getting a lot of people's hopes up. Can anyone confirm this date or where is the info coming from?

It's posted on AllEars.net too with the same opening date. I think I shocked one CM at the dining # that I knew the opening date, he said he wasn't able to confirm any information "yet".

I did the same about two hours ago! I called & talked to them about ADR's. I knew they were not taking them yet, but wanted to know when they would be. No luck though!

When I called this afternoon to make ADR's for CP, I also inquired about TRex ADR's since I had seen the Oct. 14 date and the CM I spoke with was surprised to hear that. She mentioned the last date she had heard was Oct. 24, but said they haven't had any word yet about the official opening date.

It opens Oct 14 (scheduled) but theyre not taking adr's and it is more then likely not on the DDP since its not disney owned

I just called WDW-DINE to enquire as to procedure for making an ADR for T-Rex. I was told that YES it will be opening on OCT 14 and will operate in the same way as rainforest in DTD regarding ADRs (walk up to podium only at restaurant to get a table)!!!!!

Is this info. correct? How does one go about getting an ADR for Rainforest? Can you call ahead to make it or is your only option to walk up to the podium when you want to dine?????

Yes, you can call ahead for reservations. You will need to call the restaurant directly. Someone else here should be able to give you a timeline of how far ahead you're allowed to call. Or just call Rainforest and ask. We used the yellow pages at WDW - number should be online.

Thanks for the info. I just called the Rainforest in DTD and was told that they are not sure if they will be making the ADRs for T-REX or if T-REX will have their own phone number.

The person I spoke to told me that the Rainforest takes ADRs 6 months out though.

She also told me that they have received A LOT of calls regarding T-REX.

I am going to call the Rainforest once every week or so and enquire as to when they will start making ADRs. Or if T-REX has a number to call direct.

1) T-Rex schedule to open Oct-14, per the cast portal.
2) They are not part of DDP and do not take Disney ADR's.
3) They will not accept ressies until Jan-09 (per the cast portal).
4) You can make ressies, eventually, by calling the restaurant directly.

My Disney newsletter today gave this info on TRex Cafe.

It will open Oct.14
It will only take walkins until Jan 09
It will not be on DDP
You will call WDW-DINE to make an ADR.
They did not know when they would begin taking Jan ADR's.
