Help - recovering old cruise pictures

My wife and I were recently going back through old pictures (putting together a collection for our HS Senior...), and found our CD from a 2013 cruise. I believe we got the CD where we just got digital versions of all the pictures from the cruise. It's been some time since we looked at them, and we don't have them in any form other than on the CD. Unfortunately, the files on the CD appear to be encrypted, and seem to require a special viewer in order to actually access them. The CD has an "installer" for that viewer, but it now gives an error when we try to access it (it is 7 years old...). I'm guessing that there was an online program that it would download and install/run and that's not available any more.

Does anyone know of a viewer that can read the old Shutters CDs?

I'm not a technical wizard at all, but perhaps a local camera store could help? They might be closed now, but maybe they have a drop off option? I hope you recover the pictures.

Are there any hints from the installer..? Does it direct you to a specific site or is the installer named? Did you use to have a PC but now are on a Mac..?

Those old cd’s never had the photos actually on them. You used the cd to acces the photos and then you had to download the ones you paid for onto your device.
