Help re: bringing alcohol on board

I understand Disney cruise line has a new policy. What I want to know is are you able to bring a six pack of beer on board when you stop at a port? Each adult? What about wine? 2 bottle limit? Thank you in advance for all your help.

Yes. On embarkation day AND at each port, you can bring on 2 bottles of wine OR 6 beers for each cruiser aged 21 or over.

just sailed last week. no one was counting or really inspecting when we boarded at Port Canaveral nor Nassau, fyi. they did ask if our bottles were wine when they went thru the scanner in Nassau, but didn't look to confirm. no questions at Port Canaveral at embarkation. Your milege may vary.

I agree with californiamomofboys, we too just returned from the Fantasy and was actually pretty surprised at the lack of inspection at the port upon boarding. We had stopped at the store on way over and stocked up on wine, beer and some mini bottles. Beer and wine went in carry ons, mini bottles went elsewhere. No one said a thing or asked to search. FYI.

Thanks for the heads up on the alcohol! Thought it was only 2 bottles upon boarding in Port Canaveral. Did not realize we could bring beer back on from Nassau!

We are going on a B2B so plan to bring the allowance for both cruises. If they want to "hold" the second half until we return and depart that's fine with us.

Don't want to lead you astray. Our experience may have been unique. It was the NYE cruise and maybe they were being more celebratory! It was worth a shot to us and it worked out.

We're doing a Southern with 5 ports and I calculated that we can have 72 beers between my husband and me. Woohoo!! Party, party!
