This will be our final day before we make our journey home, is it worth booking an ADR for the 3 of us (me DH and DS7) somewhere or will we be better off just staying at the hotel (All Star Movies) and relaxing?? We realise that all the parks will be extremely busy that day . Any suggestions??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Very difficult to advise, but as you will probably be a bit tired at the end of your holiday personally I would avoid the parks.

An ADR at one of the hotels wouldn't be a bad idea and would finish your holiday off nicely, equally appealing would be a nice relaxing day also.

I guess it depends on your plans for the holiday overall and how you really want to spend your last day.

The MK will be very busy, you would be lucky to get ADR's now.
It is worth going in to see the extra fireworks at the end of wishes, when they play the Star Spangled Banner.
We will be going this year too, we just get fast food.

The MK is MEGA busy and having done it once would definetly avoid it in the future. It most certainly will reach maximum capacity by early afternoon. Therefore if you want an ADR there in the evening, you would need to be in there by late morning. I would try for a nice resort restaurant and perhaps visit another park during the day.

We already have a few ADRs for the rest of our holiday some in the parks some at the hotels, we also worked out how busy the parks will be, we figured out there will only be a few baseball games on tv as it's baseball season. Will ESPN be a good choice I have read we don't need ressies but we are prepared to get there for 11.30am for lunch. Other options are Raglan Road or McDs or stay at the hotel and grab something from the food court LOL:goodvibes

i have opted to spend the 4th july at discovery cove, it takes 1,000 guests per day, so at least we know what to expect, the parks were " heaving " when we were there in 2005, but a great atmosphere

You should have a fantastic day there :goodvibes . We went to Seaworld last time as it's Ds's favourite place to see the penguins and the rays and the fantastic shows they put on each day:goodvibes :goodvibes He doesn't swim yet his school send the pupils swimming at the local sport centre when the kids are in year 3 so he has another year to wait.
We don't really want to do a park that day as we'll be packing up to come home and just want to chill out for a while, I suppose we could walk to McD's up the road if the food court is busy;)MGM has evening EMH and AK has morning EMH so they will be very busy and lots of WDW folks will return to the hotels late after the extra fireworks etc.We may see the extra fireworks at EPCOT or MK on 3rd July so we still see the Independence Day celebrations:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
