Headed to DCA today. Getting in the park about 1PM. DLR Veteran and know most tricks but never done WOC and been a long while since Aladdin. Group of 7 - a 10 and 11-yo and 5 adults. Planning on staying until close and seeing second 9:15 WOC show. Not interested in paying for any dinner/lunch packages. Not interested in waiting in any lines longer than 45 min - (maybe 60 min if diff btw 45 and 60 is seeing the show at all). Don't need the *best* seats but don't want the show to be a waste due to bad seats.
Aladdin shows are 2:20 4:45 and 6:20. I think the 6:20 is obviously the best choice since the show appeals the most to families with small children and 6:20 is dinner time and about when the small kids start to loose steam.
We want to eat in Downtown Disney though too. So it looks like we'll have to do an early dinner, geez, I'm guessing like 4:30 early if we want to get in line for Aladdin by 6 and that's only 20 min ahead! Looks like we may have to do a late dinner after the show?
But then I was thinking we need to be in line for 9:15 show of WOC by 8:30. So we have to sneak dinner in there. May have to skip Aladdin or come back to do WOC later in the week when it isn't a holiday?
Decisions decisions. Looks like if we want to do both and not be rushed for dinner it is going to have to be the 4:45 Aladdin show. I wonder how close to the time we can line up and still get *okay* seats?
