If you buy a 4 day base ticket before you leave home, can you add additional days on to that ticket once you get to WDW? I found that you can add options, but can't find anything about # of days. Also, would those additional days be at the discounted price?

Add days, options, etc. no problem, :goodvibes :wizard: I can't say what discount rate might apply.I know as a general rule the more days you get on a MYW Ticket the cheaper it gets on a daily basis. :earsboy:

I can not say for sure about number of days, BUT when I called to pay off my MYW package I asked if I could add the hopper option at check in if we wanted to and they said sure BUT I would not get the pre purchus discount so it would cost more. I would imagine it is the same for the days added. You would have to pay gate price and not get the pre purchase discount. Call then to check.

Whoever you spoke to gave you the wrong information. :sad2: There is no advance purchase price on options. They are each a flat fee added to the base ticket to make the base into a PH or MPP or Premium. The advance purchase discount only comes into play when you order a 5 day or higher ticket of any kind. The discount comes off the base price of the ticket only, not the options added to it.

Adding PH will cost $35 + tax no matter whether you do it when you order the ticket on the phone or add it standing at the ticket booth at Epcot and no matter whether you have a one day ticket or a 10 day ticket.

As to adding additional days once at WDW, those would be charged at the gate price.

Adding more of anything to your MYW ticket at Guest Relations costs the same regardless of how much you paid for the ticket you got originally.

If you take the gate price of what you have versus the gate price of what you wanted, this also gives you the correct calculation. You don't forfeit any advance purchase discount you already realized but you also don't receive further discounts you might have received had you bought the ticket with more features you really wanted all in advance.

Example: adding the 8'th expiring day costs $4. and adding the 8'th non-expiring day costs $51. regardless of whether you bought your 7 day ticket (expiring or non-expiring, respectively) at a discount or at a Disney Store or at the gate.

Note: Although adding hopping costs $35. ($37. incl. tax), some travel agencies may sell hopping tickets for less than $35. more than non-hopping tickets or sell 8 day tickets for less than $4. more than 7 day tickets.
