Help! Question about room rate at RPR

Ok, so we booked our Disney/Universal trip thru AAA
it's been paid off for about a month now, we leave in early Oct
I only owe one night's stay at the Royal Pacific when we arrive
My travel agent has it listed as $265.00

Well, if I go on Universal's site and check the price and availabilty myself, it says we can stay during the same nites for $219.00
AM I missing something here? Is the $265.00 with tax? Or do you think I should call her and try and get that cheaper room rate? I'm confused

When checking on the website there should be a tab that says rate info. That will tell you the full amount with taxes. If not it does not hurt to call and ask them why.

Rates change and the hotel will honour the change as long as you didn't book through a third party. I don't think AAA is considered a third party. Since you booked through AAA, I would have them contact the hotel to get your rate lowered.

since you don't hold the reservation, your agent will need to call to modify your rate for you.

the rate you are seeing that is cheaper might be the ap rate?
