So, we are all booked for Septembe 12-18, 2009. That being said, we are considering changing our dates to December instead. I know that the week following Turkey Day through mid-December are the slowest times for Disney and that they offer some good codes usually. Basically it works out that our trip will be $3000 during September if free dining is offered, $3500 without. The same applies in December, $3000 if a good code is offered (40% on rooms at a moderate) and $3500 without.
Does anyone know what the probability of these codes being offered year to year is? I know you can't say with certainty, but in years past have good discount codes for rooms been offered for December?
Also - I noticed this year there are black-out dates for December. We were thinking of booking December 5-11, 2009 which this year, falls during that black-out period...any idea if that happens every year and why?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, I'm going to give myself a stroke trying to make up our mind.
