I can not find the transfer paper option when printing, so I can not flip or mirror the image for my light color transfers.

What am I doing wrong when looking in page set-up?

What type of printer are you using? Make sure you are 1st changing the
"paper type" to transfers on printer properties. I have Lexmarx and one I pick tshirt transfers, it automatically puts it into mirror image.
Hope that helps.

I am using an HP on my home computer and I can not find the transfer paper option. On my laptop I **had** a lexmark installed but I don't have it anymore and it did have the option for the transfer paper.

Do you have a Mac? I do and a HP printer, I could not figure out how to flip the image with the printer ~ I was able to flip the image in Pages, however I can only print images the regular way not landscape so some that I'd like to be bigger aren't. It was annoying but I got it figured out. You'd could use dark/colored transfer paper, you don't flip the image for that type of paper.

I'm not sure I can help or not, but after you select the picture you want to print, go to printing preferences, select media type, and then select--mine says: hp iron-on transfer, then select: advanced: then arrow down to : mirror image click and it should go to yes..if not, click on it and then it will change and then click out that part of the program and finish it to print..please let me know if this helps..good luck:)

I have the Hp 1600 series printer.

under Control panel Rt click on your printer select printing preferences.. then click on the basics tab ... under orientation select Mirror image

I hope this helps

Ok I found where I can mirror image it, thanks to you guys. I still do not see an option for transfer paper. SO do I choose transparencies or specialty paper? Does it matter?

Thanks for all your guys help.

If you can mirror the image and then print - there is no need to choose anything special. Just print like you would normally print.

You may need to change the print quality (I normally print on best quality but some transfers say to print on normal - that is a case by case choice)
