We're heading down to Universal next week. About 3 years ago, we purchased our tickets park tickets during a sale. I'm so glad we did because I think we paid $79 or $89 for 7 days of access.

Anyway, we used my wife's American Express card. Well, she lost the card 2 days ago and requested a new card from American Express. It will be here by Monday, the day before we leave for Florida. However, the credit card number will obviously be different than the one that we used.

We won't have a problem getting our tickets will we? I think the last time we were there, we had to enter the card we used to purchase the tickets online and they automatically printed. I'm assuming we will be able to get them by showing our receipt, the new card and photo ID???

don't use the kiosk.

go to guest services to retrieve the tickets.
you will not have any issues.
take a photo id with you.

many peeps have credit cards that expire and are replaced.
g.s. is aware of those type of situations.

the only thing, universal no longer has 7 day passes.
your tickets will probably be reissued but i do not know how many days the passes will include.

i bought 2 seven day passes 3 or 4 years ago also.
i have had the ap since 04 but couldn't turn down a sale on those 7 day park hopper passes when they went on sale for $79....

Good to know. We're doing the same thing next June. Have had the tickets for almost 5 years, just need to pick them up. I'd really like to use 5 of our admission days so I hope they can figure something out for us.

I re-read this and now I'm a bit confused. They sold me tickets that were good for 7 consecutive days of admission to both parks. The tickets had no expiration date.

I don't need a full 7 days as we will be in the parks for only 4 consecutive days, but I'm not sure how they could give us anything less than what we paid for...

For anyone in a similar situation, I'll post later in the week and let you know what they end up giving us.

i read a thread a couple months back where a person that had the 7 day tickets stated how their transaction went at guest services.

it didn't sound like they were unhappy the way it went.
they reported they were satisfied.

i don't remember the particularies of number of days the 7 day was changed to.
sorry.

i don't think a 4 day pass would be an issue.
but, that is just my opinion.

Do report back. We only need 4 days, but our flight doesn't leave until 3 on our last day and if we could have a 5th day to run in and ride some coasters before leaving for the airport (and I could say good bye to WWOHP), that would be great.

We also bought those tickets a few years ago when they were $79. We went to Universal Orlando in Aug 2010 and got the 7 day hopper tickets. When did they stop selling them?

You will get the same tickets that you ordered even though they don't sell those tickets anymore. Just go to Guest Services/Will Call window and they will process the order for you.

Along the same lines, we purchased tickets for Universal about 5 or 6 years ago from an online ticket store (don't know if I can say name), but we never made it to Universal. We have actual tickets in hand, will there be any problems using them at the entrance turnstiles? Thanks for any info!

Should not be a problem at all.

I belong to a club and purchased four 7-day park to park passes just a week ago. Universal may not sell them on their site, but it seems there are a few other reputable places that sell them.

Universal's site sells a three park, 14 day unlimited, park to park access pass for $174. This is about what we got through the club we belong to, except it says for 7 days and expires 6 days after the first day of usage. We, too, won't need it for quite the 7 days and the tickets are being delivered to our hotel because I was afraid they would arrive after we left home.

OP here...we got back from Universal last night.

We had absolutely no problem getting the original tickets we ordered without the same credit card. In fact, I had brought along the wrong receipt and even that wasn't a problem.

They were able to find the tickets using my wife's name. There was a bit of a scare originally when the gentleman at guest relations told us that the tickets on the receipt had already been used. After a little back and forth, we realized that we had brought the receipt from our first visit to Universal. That's when he told us that it wouldn't be a problem and that he could look-up the tickets without the card or the receipt. She did have to provide photo ID though.

After seeing the current prices, I can't believe we didn't order 20 tickets at that old price!
