HELP! POFQ or WL???

DH and I started planning a VERY short notice trip to the World last week. We are arriving this Friday, for 4 nights. We plan on spending 2 days at MK, 1 day at Epcot and 1 day at a water park. Our kids are 4 and 8 years old. I just got off the phone with a nice CM who quoted me AP rates at POFQ of $84 per night, and $114 per night at WL. We haven't stayed at either resort. I think WL appeals to me b/c of the proximity to MK, and POFQ appeals to me b/c it's cheaper! What do you all think? Is the WL worth $30 more per night than POFQ?? How do the restaurants and pools compare?

We were originally planning on staying at AS Sports, but I decided I *had* to have a hot tub!!!

I love PO but I love WL more. As your going for a shorter trip, spend the additional $30 a night and have a great time enjoying WL hot tubs. Your also only a boatride away from the MK. Save PO for another time as you know that they will generally have some sort of code to keep that cost under a $100 for a bit.

OOh, they had WL for $114? You had me ready to make another call. I just booked POFQ for the 24th at the $84 rate on Monday. I think we'll stick with it since we're staying at the VWL in Dec, we're moving to OKW the next night....and we can use the extra $30 elsewhere. Also, we want to eventually try every resort....and this will be our first time at POFQ.

POFQ only has a food court...WL has two good restaurants and Roaring Forks (fast service, but not a food court). Pools at both have slides. WL will have queen beds while POFQ will have doubles. You can take the boat directly from WL to the MK.

Tough decision.....in your situation WL would be really tempting....but really I've found the moderates to be very nice...the biggest difference being the beds. I honestly think the moderates have better bus service than the deluxe hotels. Would depend on what you plan to do with the extra $120....that would more than cover a character meal.

Have fun...we have a 9yo and 4yo ourselves....

I would definately have to go the the Wilderness Lodge. It's our very favorite resort of all. POFQ is nice and we enjoyed our stay there very much, but the WL is AMAZING!
