ok im a freshman and i like this senoir....easy right
but here is the twist my best freind dated him they broke up
and now three people will not talk to me because of him
one of them being my best freind(she is yes no everyother day so...)
and we cant date because it is illegal since he is 18 so i would have to be 16 but im not im only 14
and i ask my honest guy freind that isnt allways around if it looked like i was dateing him and he said "ya just a little....a lot..."
so i really want to have him but even knowing he is in love with my most disliked person in the entire world(and its not even cause he is in love with her)
and i do not know what to do

huh? say that again? lol :confused3

Honestly, Girl, a Senior is too old for you. lol Sure, 4 years doesn't sound like a lot, but a 14 year old? Try for some younger guys! :goodvibes

::yes::

As an adult, 4 years is nothing. As a teen, 4 years is a world of difference.

I totally agree. I'm sure there's a guy either your age or maybe only a year or so older or younger than you. Maybe you should try to go for those guys cuz they'll probably just click with you and get you better.

he's too old for you. and if he likes someone else, there's nothing you can do.

also, is it actually illegal to date him? that seems a little extreme. i was under the impression that age of consent was in reference to sex, not dating.

ya if they are 18 and you are under 16 it is technically curruption of a minor

There are plenty of fish in the sea and if he really cares about you he will wait for you...but if he doesnt he isnt worth it.

But you really shouldnt stress that stuff at 14

I have to agree, he's too old for you. You'll find someone else(:

My friend and I talk about that all the time. When you're a teen, 4 years seems like 10 years, as an adult, it's totally different.

i'm 18, and honestly i cannot imagine being interested in a 14 year old. just way too many things are different. i can't imagine having too much in common. :confused3

I agree, I am 17 and maybe I am just picky but I wouldn't consider dating anyone more than maybe 1 year younger... I think it's weird...

Dont give up. add him on facebook, and he might inquire you years later. the same thing happened to me, but i turned him down cuz im engaged now .

Honestly, 4 years is a BIG age difference for a teenage relationship. My boyfriend and I are 2 years and 2 months apart. He just turned 19 and I'll be 17 mid March. At first I thought it was a huge age difference. . .especially since he's a freshman in college, me a junior in high school. But we've been dating for a year and 7 months and it's worked so far. Once we get older the age won't be so "awkward". His parents have a four year age difference however. My parents have a two. I agree with Piglet Gurl. Still be friends with him and maybe in the future things will heat up? ;)

Good luck! :wizard:

me too. but im 19. i would, however, consider dating someone up to 5 years older than me. i feel like i would connect better with someone older, rather than younger.

tooo old. I'd drop it. Think of it this way. Ur 14. 4 years ago you were 10. And in 4 years you will be 18, but a lot can change about a person in 4 years. I'm sure you were a lot different when you were 10.

Not only is it a big age difference, but a lot of high school relationships don't last. Some do, but the majority don't.
