O-kay, I just found the September 2009 calendar and there are only 2 nights that they are having Spectromagic:scared1: This is my favorite parade!!!!! The first night they are showing it is Labor Day, and the second night they are showing it is the Thursday night and if I go that night I'll miss Fantasmic:scared1: My daughter's favorite!!! What should I do, miss Spectromagic this year, or brave Magic Kingdom on Labor Day? We do not have park hoppers this year, budgeting!!!
TIA

I would say do it on labor day. Go early and get some rides done. Then go to the hotel and rest and go back later in the day for the show. If I heard right you can leave the park and go back to the same park later in the day w/ the magic your way base ticket.

We have this same dilemma although not on Labor Day. We are going the week before and Spectro is only being shown twice during our trip. We are taking a different approach. We are going to another park that day, and then hopping over to MK just to see Spectro and Wishes. We will probably get to MK about 7:00, grab CS dinner at Caseys and stake out a parade spot. Once the nighttime shows are over, we are probably leaving when though it is P.M. EMH.

I would just brave the park if you want to see the parade.

I would go on Labor Day, and try to just keep an open relaxing attitude to the day and remember that you are there for Spectro. I have the same problem. We have an extra day at MK now so that I can see it. I may even let the kids do something in the morning (mini golf, swim, or the boardwalk) and miss daytime park hours and go for the evening. As long as you don't overdue, you should have a great time.

I have been to MK on Labor Day (a few years back, though), and it really wasn't that back. The crowds dropped drastically after Sunday. We have always been this week, but going to Nov this year to catch the MVMCP. Have fun!
