Help Please...

I have been used DIS for a little over a year. I mostly just use it for reading ideas in hopes I get my questions answered. I really don't understand fully how it works. Is there anyone there that could help me? I can post a thread but don't understand how to find it so I can check the messages posted as a reply. I also have a trip planned for Aug 2009 and would like to add a counter to the bottom of my signature. Again I'm kinda lost and need a push in the right directions

Under thread tools it says subscribe to this thread. That will allow you to get emails when someone posts. I have mine set up to allow a subscription to everything that I post to.....end up with tons of email though!

Also, if you click my ticker below I think it will guide you to setting one up. If it doesn't open the website just type in www.magicalkingdoms.com

Thanks for your help I'm stuck again The following is what it tells me to do but can't figure out where the forum posts are that I would paste this into? Any idea. I think I'm fustrated and giving up too easy.
Cut and paste one of the following code snippets to include your new ticker on your website or forum posts.
You MUST copy and paste the whole code.
If you are unsure which version to use for a particular forum, check with the moderator (or Administrator) on your forum.

I'm glad you got it! Sometimes I have to play around with it to figure out how to get those counters to display.

Another way to find your posts is to click on the button that says "User CP." You can access it only once you are logged in. It will show you all the posts that you are subscribed to that have been added to since you last logged on. I just use that and have my account sent so I do NOT get an e-mail every time someone posts in a thread I am subscribed to. My inbox would be on fire!!
