I have previously rented points from a DVC owner and was wondering if someone could answer this question. We are interested in staying in a one-bedroom at the new Animal Kingdom Lodge villas (in the main bldg.) I called CRO this morning to check availability and they said they are sold out of all of the one bedrooms. My question is this - do they reserve a certain number of the rooms for DVC owners? Essentially, what are my chances of renting out a one bedroom from a DVC owner for the last week of April if CRO shows all of the one bedrooms being sold out at AKL Villas? Thanks so much for your help!

It has been posted that the last week in April is very hard to get....apparently the way that spring breaks are falling, most of the Northeast are on break during that last week. It might be possible, but probably not very likely. :sad2:

CRO inventory and DVC inventory are different, but I would be VERY surprised if there was any DVC inventory left at this point either. Most of us make our reservations quite a ways out, and I can't imagine there would be much left on such short notice. Remember that the only DVC units there are on the 5t and 6th floors, and the only units CRO would have are those that would be from trades by DVC owners to the Disney collection. Because AKV is new, there would be few of those trades out and a LOT of DVC folks wanting to get in to AKV even if they own a different resort.
