So, I am trying out for drum major next tuesday. Drum major is the person who conducts the band during marching band season. Anyways, for the tryout we have to do a 'routine' which consists of finding a song to conduct/march too. I am really looking for something fun yet something maybe with a time change. All I have really found so far is ' When you believe- from the 'Prince of Egypt.' It seems good, it has a time change which is perfect, yet on the other hand its not exactly 'fun'. I just want to do a good job, no i want to do an AMAZING job. I have been looking through songs since sunday, so i obviously need some help... If you got any suggestions please list them below!

Well I'm so happy for you. You are a band nerd like me(lol)! I tried out and I got drum major for my high school band, and I hope you get it. I would go with a song that has a tempo change like you said. In mine I have to go from 160 to 120,140,150,160 again, and then to a 180. by the end my arms hurt.
