Due to Thomas Cook letting me down (long story, don't ask:sad1: ) I have a window (and wads of cash) available at the end of April and thought "I'll go to DLP" (Four times to WDW and twice to DL, but never DLP-go figure:confused3 ) Who do my fellow Brits recommend to book with?-I want flights-preferably from the Midlands-Disney Hotel and transfers, Not too much to ask is it?:rolleyes1

Hi Hobbes and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

All our holidays have been booked with Disney direct so that would be my recommendation.

We are travelling to DLP in March (4th trip) and we booked direct with Disney.....
We booked Online with Air France for the flight they seem to be the cheapest at the time, but its worth looking around.
There are buses (VEA Transport) at the airport that can transfer you to your hotel and you can pay on the bus so no need to pre book that....
Is there anything else you need to know.....?

The only time we've flown I booked a package with Thompsons, I wouldn't recommend this - our 4 day break turned into a 2 day one, because the flight times were just awful.
If you book the hotel and tickets with DLRP direct as Cyrano as mentioned and book the flights yourself, you'll probably save a few bob and be able to choose flight times to suit yourself. Transfers aren't a problem - there is a shuttle service from CDG to DLRP and back everyday run by http://www.vea.fr/uk/index.asp and you don't even have to book with them. Alternatively if you're arriving out of their operating hours there are other private taxis that come highly recommended by the forum members.
As far as the hotels go Sequoia Lodge, New York and Newport Bay Club are within very easy walking distance of the parks and it's a very nice walk around Disney Lake and through the village. The DLH is right at the park entrance, the other Disney and selected hotels are within walking distance, if slightly further away or all have a regular shuttle bus service to the parks and back.

Let us know what you decide:goodvibes

We booked thehotel direct with Disney and are flying Easyjet (never had a problem so far, touch wood).
In the past we have gone from airport on Disney Coach, but tonight we have booked a taxi.
Did I tell you I flying in 8 hours    :dance3:

You can fly to Charles de Gaulle or Orly from quite a number of airports in the Midlands - usually with budget airlines too! :thumbsup2

Have a look at here to for some virtual visits of the different hotels, to see which appeals most! Then have a look at this booking page on the official site to find out about prices and availability of packages. :)
