Quite a few people on here have taken babies to DLP, and there have been a few threads recently - but I can't find them!! :badpc: The search isn't working at the moment, but I'll keep trying :)

Take her own buggy or hire one when you get there - they are not suitable for very young babies but age from about 7 months should be ok.

Use the baby room near to the Plaza Gardens restaurant (next to the arcade entrance). I think they have food heating facilities, breast feeding area and a nappy changing area in there.

Take plenty of snacks for her - the little snacks in the park are very expensive.

There are some very nice shady areas in Adventureland, opposite Skull Rock and Captain Hooks' ship which would be handy to get her in the shade for a little while, and there are benches for you to have a rest.

Use the child swap facility on the rides.

Take her back to the hotel for an afternoon nap if it all gets too much!

Don't be worried if she is a bit scared of the characters - they are very big to a little one!

Probably most importantly don't rush around, enjoy it, relax and have fun.

Have a wonderful time - I hope she loves it!

I'd take her own buggy Rhianna as the park ones don't recline so aren't very comfy for napping in.

The baby centre next to Plaza Gardens is a wonderful place to change or feed Amber. Jessica got a certificate for going to the toilet by herself when we were there (she was 2) and I was very impressed with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone with a small child. :thumbsup2

How does the Baby swap work, when we went last year I was preganant and couldnt do any of the rides, so I waited at the end of the ride for Minnie Much and DH, there were people waiting at the exit with prams talking about how they were swaping with their partners who were queuing. Do you all have to queue or not?? (it would be pretty awkward if Amber was asleep)
