We are going to BCV in two weeks. Yeah!!!! Currently, all I have requested is close to the elevator. I was wondering if I should put in a request for a certiain view. I would love a view of the Epcot ball but I do not if these rooms are close to the elevators or not. We will be driving in so I would like a room as close to the parking lot as possible but I would prefer not to have a parking lot view. Any suggestions?

There are elevators in 2 locations at BCV - one is close to the parking lot (single elevator) and the other (2 elevators) is closer to Beach Club. You can have an Epcot or pool view and still be close to the parking lot.

Our preference is top floor, Epcot view. We were not bothered by the road noise but others here had issues with the noise even on the top floor. We've been in #473, top floor near the parking lot, and #548, top floor back towards the Beach Club. We have requested top floor pool view for our November trip just see what that side is like. It's a great place, enjoy it and have a wonderful trip.

I have to tell you, we were there in January and we stayed in a great room. It was #134, first floor, with the patio doors that opened out on to the pool area. All we had to do was run across the grass, and we were right at the quiet pool/hot tub area. It was a 2BR, but I don't remember if it was a dedicated or a lock-off.

Didn't have an Epcot view, but I don't spend a lot of time looking out the window. In the AM, it was nice to sit out on the patio and look at the pool, and the little canal behind it.

Just wondering, fixintodie, are those two studios? I'm actually making a list of all the studios that are mentioned at the BCV and the comments made about them.

To Simba's Mom...

I am really interested in the list of BCV studios you are building...
when completed could you post it to the boards
(or please to me privately)
Love the idea...

I actually just started this list a few weeks ago. I periodically check other sites too and whenever I see a BCV studio room # mentioned, I write down whatever is of note about it. So far I only have 9 studios mentioned. Anyone have any idea how many studios there are? I have a feeling I have a long way to go! I'm also doing this with the 1 BR at HH. I know there are only about 20 of those-got 2 down, 18 to go!

Simba's Mom
I am so glad you are doing this
it really is a good idea and will help everyone seeking to stay in studios at the BCV
do you know about the room/trip reviews on Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World site:
just in case you don't the URL is:
http://www.wdwig.com/faq_bcv2.htm

all the best to you and your exciting project

Simba's Mom... There are 36 Dedicated Studios and 74 Lockoff Studios.

Are you looking for just the room numbers or specific comments about each one?

I guess I'm not reaaly sure
we are going in October this year...
and really looking forward to it
our first DVC BCV trip...
our first trip "home"
I really would love to know the layout of the rooms at the resort (not the individual room layouts, but rather say, where room 112 is located etc.,)
we are hoping for a studio with an Epcot view
I know its not best to request a specific room
but I just love reading all this stuff
it makes the impending trip seem closer...
that little bit of hope...
