Ok, so I've booked a long weekend in September for myself, niece (23), and DD (15) as a present for my DD's 16th birthday, and while the two of them are total thrill ride fans, me...not so much!
I went to Universal many years ago (when you could still see the Psycho house) and then again maybe 6-ish years ago, and found things had definitely changed! A lot of rides, and I get motion sickness, so I can't do most of them, or at least I don't think I can. My big 'triggers' seem to be long 'dips' and sometimes visual things. For example, I do POTC at MK, and just that one little dip gives my stomach a bit of a jolt, but it's not bad enough to keep me from riding. Much more than that, and I'd have a problem. As for the visual 'cues', I've done Soarin' and survived, but it was tough; I'd probably try it again, but it was tough. Can you guys tell me the places I might want to try? We're definitely doing the HP section, and while I definitely can't do either of the 'thrill' rides, I've seen that they have a walk-thru, at least for Hogwarts...? Any help would be appreciated!

you are pretty limited. There's still lots of things to see and take in. You can go through most lines just to watch and leave at the child swap.
), and that's actually one of the first rides, if not the first, I rode, years ago when I first visited. Both times I've been there it's been with the same niece that's going this next time, but the first time she was little-ish, like 5 or 6, and we did ET, and she refused to ride it the 2nd time we went (which I think was actually a high school graduation present for her), saying that it scared her when she was little! This is the same girl that will ride every blessed thrill ride there is at Disney, Busch Gardens, Sea World (as will my daughter!) multiple times, but she will not ride ET! I'm going to have to see if she'll do it this time around.
I apologize if you had to move it!
