Help please--when to call for special request

We have ADRs at LTT on 5/14 and HDDR on 5/17. DD does not eat meat. When should we call to see if we can get some alternative food for her?

I called LTT about this not too long ago and was told to just let them know when I checked in. Honestly, I forget what exactly prompted me to call because I've never had a problem getting a vegetarian meal at WDW..... If your request is more specific or there are allergies involved, I'd call ahead of time, maybe the day before, and ask to talk to the chef to see what they can do. WDW chefs do a very good job on veg food, so I wouldn't worry too much.
