We are DVC members but are running short on points so we will be paying for a room this trip.
I got a postcard and I have called Disney and I can get a value for under 500.00 for the week or a moderate for under 700.00 or AKL savannah view for 1296.00for the week.I could also rent points for 1230.00 for a week.
So please let me know what you would do.
We have stayed at Pop,ASMovies,CBR,CSR,VWL,BWV,BCV,OKW and we Love them all.We are not people that have to have a deluxe. So what would you do?

I would say it depends on what room the DVD points are going to get you. I would book the moderate, or split it up. We used up our points for our cruise and are splitting our WDW stay between POFQ and a 1-bed at SSR. Maybe pay out of pocket for a moderate and then rent some points for the rest of the stay?

I would stay at PO French Quarter. Easy decision for me with your choices.
Have fun whatever you decide. :cheer2:

I had the same question with my postcard rate between the WL and CBR. I ended up taking CBR for over $500 less for the 9 nights and I feel good about it. I figure it's still going to be a great resort experience at a great price and I can use the extra $$$ to shop. :)

I am working with someone right now about renting thir points. We will be staying the first night at Pop and then we will move over to BCV or BWV if everything works out.
It is just really hard to pass up a deal nder 500.00 for a week.
