Anyone know how long it takes to walk from DL or DCA to DD? I am trying to figure out where to eat dinner the night we are at DL and also lunch and dinner when we are at DCA. Is it reasonable to try to walk to DD to eat and return to the park after?

thank you thank you thank you

Five minutes - or so - if that - depending on the restaurant???

DTD is practically connected to the entrance of DL and DCA.

Any thoughts on where to eat? I am looking for table service w/ airconditioning if possible... This is our first trip (honeymoon) Thanks!

Give yourself 10 minutes from the gate at DL or DCA and you'll have plenty of time to stroll to your restaurant.

Recommendations, hmm... Been to Tortilla Jo's. The food was good mexican fare. I remember the margarita was quite tasty that afternoon :drinking1

I like House of Blues, yummy southern food, but I've only been to the one on Sunset Blvd so I can't comment on DTD location. It's probably quite similar. The gospel brunch is fun!

Rainforest Cafe is ok. It's fun for the family, but for a honeymoon??? The food was ok, but I wasn't impressed. More of an atmosphere restaurant.

Okay, if you are at Toontown, its quite a trek. From the gates its a leisurly 5-10 minute stroll. I would suggest Catal for atmosphere but if you truly want romance, go to Napa Rose at the Grand California Hotel. Napa Rose also has excellent meals. I have only had drinks and appetizers at Catal so can't really speak for table service meals but the menu sounds excellent. Make a priority seating ressie for either because it can be hard to get in with a walk up certain times of the year.

Jump on the monorail and take that into DD if you are in the park.

We do dinner in DTD all the time and return to the park. For a honeymoon (without kids? assuming - correct me if I'm wrong) - Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen - amazing!!! Napa Rose - amazing! Both a little pricier but the quality is worth it. I'm waiting for Bubba Gump's to open down there, that's one of my favorite restaurants and family friendly. You need reservations at most of the good places and most of them you call direct rather than through Disney Dining or Vacation Planning.
