I'm new and obsessed with planning our children's first trip to WDW (3 and 1 year old twins--ok are we nuts?)! Going to WDW in September w/ the dining plan--I hear mention of "spreadsheets" to help plan/maximize the dining plan--I'm helpless with excel--can someone throw me a bone and share one they've created? I'd be eternally grateful and my computer would take less abuse (I've tried on my own and I can't make it work in Excel!).
You can email to AuntLollyLovesWDW@live.com

Thanks in advance.

I'm no help with the with the spreadsheet, but wanted to wish you a fabulous trip. I don't think you are crazy at all to take the little tikes. My kiddos were these ages the first time we took them (2 ds's 15 and almost 13 now) and I will always remember how magical that trip was. I would trade all my other trips for that 1st most wonderful time!

Enjoy every moment!

I have one that I would be happy to e-mail you from my home computer tonight. Give me your dates so that I can make it for your length of stay. Also, what version of Excel do you have? We have '07 so if you have anything older I will convert it for you before I e-mail. :)

Thank you! I think I have 07 on one computer and an older version on another (I'm at work now :surfweb: and not sure about home). We're currently booked for Sept. 12-Sept. 19, but may switch to Sept. 19-Sept. 27.

Thanks again!

2 adults, 1 child and 2 free kids? You don't need to maximize anything. The DDP is a dream for you. Book character meals, family style and places with all you care to eat options and your littlest ones can dine for "free."

Your daily cost is just under $86/night. If you go to Chef Mickey's for dinner, that would cost you just under $80 out of pocket! So, effectively, for $6, you get 3 snacks and 3 Counter service meals.

Thanks everyone! As for maximizing, we're actually travelling w/ 3 adults, the 3 year old and the 1 year old twins, but even then, the dining plan seems to most definitely work in our benefit--I just wanted to try to figure out how to best use the credits and layout the days, etc.

Well I sent mine to you before I read you already had one.:rotfl:

Happy planning!
